Diabetes Foot Care Diabetics are more vulnerable to foot problems because diabetes can damage nerves and reduce blood flow to the feet. Many Diabetics eventually lose sensation in their feet known as diabetic neuropathy. Neuropathy can also present itself as burning, tingling or numbness in the feet. With the lack of sensation on the bottom of the foot, diabetics are at risk of developing more serious foot complications which can lead to dangerous infections and even amputation. Therefore proper foot care for diabetics is especially important. Annual foot exams are highly reccommended
Safety Protocol
To eliminate the risk of cross contamination, we clean and disinfect all treatment areas between clients.All of our instruments are sterilized , packaged in sets and sealed.
Health Insurance Coverage
Our services are covered by most extended Health Insurance plans. However, if you do not have a health insurance plan, please contact us for our service fees.
We are also an approved foot care provider for Veterans Affairs Canada (DVA). Your foot care can be covered through V.A.C.
